Who we are
JobiQ is a hiring platform operated in the United Arab Emirates. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
What we collect
From candidates: name, phone, email, date of birth, nationality, residence status, emirate, languages, availability, the documents you upload, our conversation with you, the public accounts you share, and the profile we build from them. From employers: contact details, what you tell us about the need, and for companies the trade licence and the e-signed mandate. We do not collect religion, biometric data or precise location.
Why we collect it
To build your profile, place it near the needs it fits, make introductions you agree to, verify employers, and keep records the law requires. The legal basis is your consent, which you give separately for processing and for review of your public accounts.
Who sees it
Signed-in members see open profiles: name, headline, experience, skills with their evidence, socials, and contact details unless you choose to share them only after an introduction. Nationality and date of birth are never on your profile; an employer sees them only after you accept their introduction. The the JobiQ team see everything needed to review profiles and keep the service safe.
Service providers
We store data with Supabase and run the application on Vercel. We use AI services from Google, Groq and similar providers to read documents, run conversations and write summaries. In the pilot these are free tiers that may use inputs to improve their models.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active. When you withdraw consent, your profile leaves every Field immediately and your personal data is deleted within 30 days. A record of your consents and their withdrawal is kept, without your profile content, as evidence of the legal basis.
Your choices
You can edit your profile, choose who sees your contact details, ask for a copy of your data, and withdraw consent at any time from your profile page or by contacting us.
Cookies
JobiQ sets only the cookies it needs to work: your language and your sign-in session. No advertising or tracking cookies.
